Influenster

Hi there! Today's post is going to be about Influenster. It is a free website, you just sign up and you're ready to go. You go on and you review products you have used. It's from make up, beauty products, household products, games, etc. There's a category for everyone's needs. You earn badges and points for every product review you do. Based on your points, badges unlocked, etc you can qualify for a Vox Box. They will email you a survey to see if you qualify for the box, if so you will be mailed a box of free products to review on the website. No charge to you, all free. I've received about 3 to 4 Vox Boxes now. It's been from a box all dedicated to Mary Kay products, to some beauty and household products.

These are the items I received in this Vox Box.

1. Playtex Sports Fresh Balance Tampons - $3.99-4.99 a box. I wont be needing these for the next 7 months lol.

2. Broadway Nail imPRESS Press-On Manicure- $5.00 for colors & $7.99 for patterns. The pattern I got is pretty for spring. I'm not sure I would wear all my nails with the pattern maybe just an accent nail. Also, the press-on isn't ideal for a mommy of two, but I can always add nail glue if I do use.

3. Red Rose REAL TEA Premium Water Enhancer- $4.49 - I received the Black Tea kind. Kind of interested in this product. I love tea and all you do is add one squeeze to an 8 oz glass of water. Contains 24 servings.

4. Expert Last Lip Color in Forever Fuchsia by NYC- $1.99- Can never have too many lip products and the color is so pretty for spring and summer.

5. Rimmel London Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation- $4.99-5.99- I love trying out foundations. It's in the shade Light Ivory which I think will be a good match. I'm not sure how I will like this since it is a matte foundation and I have dryer skin. We'll see how it goes.

6. Pilot Acroball PureWhite- $4.59 per 3- pack/ $6.24 per 4-pack and $7.49 per 5-pack. I can always use pens. I'm really picky with how my pens write so we'll see how this one goes! It has a comfy gripper, so that's always nice.

Again go sign up and start reviewing for your chance to receive free products. :)

MARCH IPSY BAG

Hi there!
I know it's been awhile since I last posted. I started school, found out we're expecting our 3rd and final baby. (Be on the look out for maternity outfit posts later on) and the past few weeks have been busy.

This month's bag was interesting. Ipsy had an artist design this bag.

I received 4 products in this months bag.

First product is Nicole by OPI Roughles Nail Polish in On What Grounds?
It's a very pretty color, perfect for spring. Excited to try this rough texture of nail polish.

Next is Laboratoires Klorane Patch. It's supposed to smooth and relax woth cornflower. I'm excited to try these since I've never tried a product like this before.

I received a eye shadow palette from Be a bombshell in Bora Bora. It has pretty bronze colors with that pop of teal. The shadows are smooth and creamy and have great pigmentation.

Lastly, I received a Bare Minerals Lip Stick in Get Ready. Its the perfect Mauve color, which is right up my alley.

Here's the swatches of the shadows and lipstick

Don't forget to subscribe to Ipsy for $10 a month. Such a great deal for 4-5 full size beauty products.

Wearable Green Eye Look

Hi pretties!

I'm back with another tutorial. This time it's a wearable green eye shadow look just in time for St. Patty's Day!

I used the Jesse's Girl Palette in The Eyes Have It along with a orange/peach blush for my transition shade and the Naked Basics Palette for my highlight shade. If you try this look out or any others send me pictures at my email so you can be featured in a blog post in the future ;)

As always the video of my look will be posted below! Hope you guys enjoyed this look. My camera battery died at the end of the video. All I did was finish applying mascara and added Revlon's Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Honey. You can add a winged liner and eyeliner to your water line if you'd like. I kept mine simple since I did film this in the day time. Also, if you don't want the dark hunter green on the outer V, you can always use a brown or even dark golden/taupe color.

It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye

Hi there!
I was lucky enough to receive a sample of the It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer to review here on the blog.

I got mine in the shade Neutral Medium and it's the perfect shade!

As you know, I have super bad dark circles so I was so excited to test this product out and see how it worked. I have to say my first impression was Woah! this is super thick. It says that it can be used as an overall foundation. I was a bit scared to put this thick of a concealer under my eyes, thinking it would crease.

BEFORE PIC: WITHOUT ANY MAKE UP ON

ONCE APPLIED BEFORE BLENDING:

My first thought when applying this to my under eye was this looks like straight up foundation, coverage and formula wise. It blended out really nicely, but I would recommend doing a section at a time as it tends to dry a little fast. It leaves a dewy finish so I set it with a powder so it wouldn't move, plus I didn't want to risk it creasing. It did a great job of covering my dark circles. I personally would put a salmon colored corrector underneath just because my circles are so dark, I would like that extra coverage. Overall I really really loved this concealer even if I was a bit hesitant at first.

I would have to say that this concealer is one of the best concealers I have ever used and I will be purchasing it in the future. It seriously is the only thing that has covered up my dark circles flawlessly without looking so cakey. I cant wait to try it out with a salmon corrector underneath. I believe I have found my new holy grail concealer for my dark under eye circles.

Thank you for reading!!
