Friday's Fabulous Finds

Hi there!

Back with another Friday's Fabulous Finds. The products I'm going to mention today are things I've had for a while and have been finding myself reaching for them a lot lately!

First product is the Rimmel Natural Bronzer in 021 Sun Light. I use this to contour and warm up my face! As you can see I've hit pan so I must love it, huh?

Next is a Maybelline Eyeshadow Quad in 40Q Designer Chocolates. It has the perfect colors for fall; a cranberry color and chocolate brown! Not to mention a great cream highlight shade!

Next is another great eyeshadow. It's Wet N Wild's single eyeshadow in C251A Brûlée. Another perfect matte highlight shade and blending shade.

Next is a new product I've been using for a few weeks now and I love the natural look it gives my eyebrows. Milani Easy Brow in Dark Brown. I was hesitant at first since it is a pencil but just use a light hand and you'll be good to go! Not to mention it has a decent brow comb on the opposite end!

Last but not least is Smashbox Limitless Eye Liner in Onyx. It is such a creamy eyeliner and it glides right on and stays on all day. Everything you look for in a great black liner!

Thank you for reading and Happy Friday!!

XOXO,
Marissa

How to Clean Your Hair Brushes

Hi lovelies!

You're probably thinking clean your hair brush? Yes. Your hair brushes are usually used on clean hair so why would you want to use a dirty brush on it, right?

All you're gonna need is:
Apple Cider Vinegar
Baking Soda
Old Toothbrush
Hair brushes

First you will want to get all the hair out of the brushes. You can use a comb to comb out the hair in your brush to get all the hard to reach hairs!

Then fill a bowl or sink with pretty warm water. Add in baking soda and vinegar. Amounts will depend on how big of a bowl/sink you are using.

Then let your brushes soak in the bowl/sink for a few minutes. Next you're going to take your old toothbrush and scrub your brushes. You will be amazed at how much build up comes off of them.

Here's a before & after. (Kind of hard to tell since the vinegar tints the water)

Once you're done with all your brushes, rinse them, and lay paddle facing down on a towel!

Happy Hair brush cleaning!!

S'morespired

Hi lovelies!

Today's DolledUp Daily was inspired by this beautiful fall weather we had today! I decided to do yet another smokey eye with a bit of orange. It kind of reminds me of a S'more, perfect for fall. I loved the way it turned out & it will definitely be a reoccurring eye look this fall season.

Today's face make up included: Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer, L'oreal True Match Foundation in Nude Beige N3, Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer in Light, L'oreal Dream Lumi Concealer in Radiant.

For bronzer I used NYX Bronzer & Blusher Duo in Ibiza and blush I used Avon's Dazzle Dust in Golden Glow.

Below is all the eyeshadows I used to achieve the eye look. I used Maybelline's Color Tattoo in Barely Branded as an all over base.I used the dark brown in the Sahara Sand Palette from Stila (in the crease and lower lash line),Venus from the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette (inner corner). The coral color from Avon's Pebble Wash (crease), Wet n' Wild's single eyeshadow in Brûlée (all over lid & brow bone highlight).

Below from left to right is Venus, Brûlée, Coral, Brown.

For my eyebrows I used Elf's Eyebrow Kit in Medium. Urban Decay's 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Zero (upper lash liner, tight line & water line), Mary Kay's Lash Primer & Maybelline's Mega Plush Volum' Express Mascara in Blackest Black.

Thanks for reading! Don't forget to follow :)
